“ I was very impressed the 1st time, and even more so the 2nd time, as were others... This is the best non-veg Indian food I've had, at any price, anywhere! (And I'm Indian!). The skills and passion of a charming & friendly chef-owner, with his 5-star hotelier experience, definitely come through. Each dish is unique and special, (unlike the often uninspired competition). Last night included Biryani with fresh herbs & spices & big bay leaves, with succulent chicken; also super tasty fresh saag, and perfect fluffy naan. I'm also a captive customer, as I have food sensitivities (allergies), but face zero issues here. The food is fresh - not combined & adapted from pre-made bases! It's a huge win for me, and I'm very grateful to Mr Chatterjee for this. It isn't cheap, but that just reflects the inputs IMO. It's slightly odd to find such a gem in this small suburban strip. Prep was slow the 1st time, but quick the second, so it's not a fundamental issue. But best off expecting quality over speed. By preference, I will only come here for Indian from now on. ”

“ This place is a hidden gem. I only live around the corner and I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve tried this place. The sheesh kebab was the best I e had and because I’d not had one for so long I had the chicken balti. So nice, so flavoursome and just the right spice. The keema was packed with meat. Only 4.85 for a pint of cobra also. Honestly, can’t wait to return and try other dishes in the menu. The staff are amazing and the boss makes you feel at home. Great, food, great service and great place. Thanks guys, I we t back the following day and it was even better. The chicken jalfrezi was delicious and the best food I have ever tasted.
